2. Description of Service

Tactus is a customizable MIDI controller application for iOS devices. The Service allows you to:

  • Create and customize control surface layouts
  • Connect to DAWs and other software via MIDI
  • Share and download community-created content
  • Rate and review community content

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us of any unauthorized use

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and upload to the Service (layouts, profiles, graphics). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content through the Service.

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious code or malware
  • Is offensive, harmful, or inappropriate
  • Violates any applicable laws
  • Impersonates others or is misleading

4.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines, without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by Tactus and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIXRMOTE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tactus and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tactus operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
